Morning Update: Wednesday, Sept. 20

Truman continues to remain stable. However, his illness continues to remain a mystery.

He now weighs 2 lb, 5 ounces, but the staff believes the large gain is due to fluid given to him to fight the symptoms of his illness.

Have faith that everything will be ok! Having a micro-preemie is so hard, but, a year from now this will all seem like a horrible nightmare and your little baby will be a big boy! My son was born 1# 5oz and is the smartest, sweetest little 2 1/2-year-old you could ever meet! Bless you all!

Yay for stable. I always very much appreciated those days in NICU.

We have been gone for the last three weeks. Having just returned, I have just read your postings to date. Truman and his loving, faithful parents have been in our prayers and thoughts continually. I see by your postings that his progress has had some tough hurdles to get over, but the three of you seem to be crossing them with grace and strength. We love you guys and continue to keep you close in our hearts and in our prayers.
