Five Pounds (For Real)

CURRENT WEIGHT: 5 LBS, 0.08 OUNCES

Truman gained 25 grams yesterday, which makes him 5 lbs for real, rather than just holding onto swelling from surgery. That also means he is done dropping water weight after surgery and on back on the path of real weight gain!

Way to go Truman! And mom, you deserve a lot of that credit for pumping and breastfeeding these past 3-4 months. Hope you all have a great weekend and that everything is still on for next week!

I've been following Truman's story since he was born. I almost had a 25-weeker with my first pregnancy, but he held out until 37 weeks. Truman's story has been close to my heart as I have seen what my little one would have gone through. Way to go , Truman, and mom and dad! You've almost made it home!

Wow, what a story. I was told last week that I will probably be delivering my baby at only 25 weeks along because of my cervix. I have to hold on for 2 more weeks with strict bedrest (I'm 23 weeks now). I went onto a message board for insight and a lady sent me this blog. I just finished reading the entire thing and the tears are still running down my face! Congrats!! I am so happy to hear that everything worked out. I hope all goes well you all deserve a very special Christmas. I think that everyone who reads your story just falls in love with Truman!
