Still growing!
CURRENT WEIGHT: 3 LBS, 4 OUNCES (1473 GRAMS)
CURRENT LENGTH: 15.5 INCHES
HEAD MEASUREMENT: 11 INCHES
Truman has really hit a groove with growth. This last week, he had an above average daily weight gain!! Finally, little man. Breastfeeding is continuing to go well, and his tube feeds are at 27 ccs, or 6.75 ounces a day.
He was weaned to .1 liters of oxygen on the canula this morning. Nurse Allison said it's possible to switch to a microflow, but it's likely that the canula will be taken off and Truman will be able to try breathing all by himself later this week.
Although he still struggles some with Brady/Apnea spells while eating and some desats when he gets really comfortable, he didn't have any overnight and hasn't had any so far today.

Way to grow Truman! He is doing great! Sounds like breastfeeding is progressing well for both of you, and that he is almost ready to try room air again very soon! How very exciting for all of you-keep up the great work little man! You will soon be out growing if not already done so those preemie diapers- Take care! Sara

Hi. Just wanted to stop by and say Yay! I was delighted to hear how well Truman has been doing with the breastfeeding and that he has been growing well. I hope it won't be too long before he can come home. Best wishes.
